Electronics III: Midterm - Take 2

After the Mbox disaster, I've decided to move on to something a little more my speed. Maybe something like this:

In all actuality, that is too simple. So to spice things up, I will create a light array that activates, in sequence, after an audible tone.
  - 555 monostable circuit that will delay the lights?
  - 4017 decade counter to activate the lights in sequence

Turns on the lights in sequence, over time.

Capacitors will slowly deactivate the lights by bringing down the voltage gradually, after the circuit is deactivated.

I will add photographs of my current breadboard in the next blog.
